Hi My wife have a macbook pro 2.2 ghz 2 core duo with 6 GB ram mid 2007. Everytime she start up the computer launch DVD PLAYER SMILEBOX and DROPBOX. I tried go to system preferences/accounts/log in/ and delete log in items but when shut down and start up will lauch those apps again
Is another way to stop this

Delete any occurrences of those apps from the following locations:
  • System Preferences > Accounts > yourusername > Login Items
    (Lion and ML users: System Preferences > Users & Groups > yourusername > Login Items)

  • /Library/LaunchAgents/
    (Lion and ML users: In Finder, click Go > Go to Folder > then enter the path)

  • ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
    (Lion and ML users: In Finder, click Go > Go to Folder > then enter the path)

  • /Library/StartupItems/
    (Lion and ML users: In Finder, click Go > Go to Folder > then enter the path)
