I just restarted my Macbook Pro for the first time since I started using my bluetooth keyboard and when I went to log in to my account, the bluetooth keyboard didn't work and I had to use the laptop keyboard. However, my bluetooth mighty mouse worked.

Could this just be because it was my first restart and if I restart again it will work? Or how can I fix this?

Thanks.

On my iMac it can sometimes take about 20 seconds before the keyboard is recognised after a reboot.

Also sometimes i have to power cycle the keyboard to get it to be recognised. (This is usually when rebooting from windows.)

Just some things to try.

I have the same problem with my iMac (20" CD) and apple bt keyboard, takes some time to recognise the keyboard, drives me crazy!

Ive checked the apple discussion boards but was of little help (was a month or so ago now) I was hoping it would be fixed in the 10.4.9 update..
