Log-in window on wrong display

Hi,
I use a monitor connected to my MBP as my primary display. When I start up, the log-in window is shown on the MBP display and not my primary display. Is there any way of selecting which display the log-in window appears on?
Sorry if it's an obvious solution!

its done this since leopard, its a PAIN, in tiger everything would show up on which ever display was selected as primary, but now in leopard apple has decided it will keep windows popping up on whatever screen they were opened on last
