I need to know times and dates of when my mac was on. So i can in turn see how many hours my mac was on? where can i find this. or is there a software app where I can find this?

ah you mean total uptime. I'm not sure.

I know typing the command "last" in Terminal will show somekind of log of uptime/reboot but I'm not sure how far back it goes. Not sure it shows what you want though.

yeah that's what i mean. I want to know what my total uptime is. If i type uptime it give me this:

19:42 up 6:36, 2 users, load averages: 0.18 0.12 0.10

whatever that means?
