I am looking for a program that automatically records battery parameters to a log file.
I had a script on my old Mac but cannot remember its name.
I have tried 2 programs:
bcmon: I copied the executable to /usr/local/bin.and the launchd script to /Library/LaunchDaemons/bcmon.plist as it said to but it doesn't produce a log in the log directory.
CoconutBattery - nice program, set preferences to log daily but nothing shows up in history unless I manually add data.
I just want to track battery degradation over the life of my new MBP running Yosemite.
Any suggestions?
