Hi there,

I am a little confused. I am trying to finally use our user accounts on the mac server to setup network wide logins.

I am trying it out on my Lion machine. Our Mac Server is based on SL Server.

Its all setup in my user preferences, the Mac Server is setup as a network server for user data and it shows the green light. I can even define what server accounts are allowed to login on my machine, it shows me all the server accounts to choose from, so there must be a successful connection. But no matter what I setup there, when I logout and I find myself at the login screen of Lion, it wont let me sign in with any server account credentials.

I choose none of my machine accounts but "Other" and type in my shortname, or fullname and password but it tells me that the credentials are wrong.

What do I miss?

Thanks and regards,
Steffen
