I'm currently at school with my Mac, and being the only Mac on the entire campus, everyone else is at a loss to help me. How do I log onto the local network and access my drive from my Mac? I used Finder and selected 'Network' and it gave me a kind of port-scan showing me every port in the school, but I cannot figure out how to log onto my drive. Anyone know?

Thanks
Andrew

hehe, not my cat, but it is sure impressive!
i just found the picture laying around.

Xu’s 9 year old pet cat weighs 15 kg (33 lbs) and its "waist" measures around 77 cm (30 in)! Link

But even Xu’s cat isn’t near the world record for fattest cat

If the server name is 'joe.com', and the shared folder name is 'bobby', on a Windows box you'd do this:

\\joe.com\bobby

On a Mac, select "Connect to server" from the Finder's "Go" menu - and type:

smb://joe.com/bobby

Just change those names to the names of your real server and shared folder.
