So basically my unifying receivers stopped working and I have to connect my MX Keys keyboard and MX Master 2S mouse via direct bluetooth connection, which sucks because my mouse is not nearly as accurate and often will stutter. I have FOUR different receivers and none of them work, plugging into all my available ports. I had no problems with Catalina and the receivers until one day, bam, nothing.
I did everything I could think of– uninstalled and reinstalled all software, created new user accounts to see if there was a software conflict, etc.
Here's the full email I sent to Logitech support. I'll share if I get this figured out, but as we all know sometimes support teams are less help then you guys.

Hi,
This is a problem not just with this keyboard but my unifying software. I have the new MX Keys keyboard and an MX Master 2S mouse and the unifying software suddenly does NOT detect a logi receiver.
Details– System info: Mac OSX Catalina 10.15 / 2017 MacBook Pro 15"
What can I do here? I can not use the mouse connected directly to bluetooth because it's too choppy and inconsistent (a problem widespread with a simple google search).
- I've used my MX Master 2S since launch date with zero problems since ~2017. I purchased the MX Keys in it's release and it also worked fine with the unifying receiver.
- The receiver worked fine on Catalina until the past week. I updated to OSX 10.15 on October 7 and updated ALL of my logitech software (options and unifying). No problems.
- A few days ago, I booted my computer and Unifying Software now says "There is no Unifying receiver plugged into your computer". I have FOUR different receivers and none of them are detected. I've tried all of them on different USB ports. I connect them directly to an Apple OEM USB-C to USB-A connector or to the USB ports on the back of my LG monitor. In my Software info under USB, the Unifying Receiver is called "Logitech Wireless Headset" which is weird. All four of them do this (including the ones that came with my MX Keys and MX Master 2S).
- I uninstalled every single piece of Logitech software on my machine and made sure to even remove the system files that wouldn't be removed from a simple application move to trash.
- I reinstalled Unifying Software with the correct new version that says compatible with Catalina 10.15. Nothing. Doesn't work.
