I have come across a problem in logic 6.4.3, running on a G5 with osx for some very strange reason Midi data from the F2 key on the keyboard( music keyboard not typing) is not being detected, all the other keys are fine and the midi data from this key is seen when i use the keyboard in pro tools, have tried lots of things will have to try reinstalling logic if no one has any ideas??

thanks

Have you tried transposing the keyboard so that the note is transmitted from a different physical key?

That will tell you if it's a physical problem with your keyboard.

Otherwise, it might be a MIDI filter, but if you've re-installed I'd imagine that would have gone too, is it the same with all your songs or one only?

It's not a common problem, and certainly not a bug in Logic, we'd have heard about it by now, it's likely to be a systemic problem locally.

What interface do you use, some interfaces allow for MIDI filters?

i have treid transposing and using a different keyboard, so it is definatley a system problem, i will have to try reinstalling
thanks
