I have been using Live for the past while now and out of interest torrented logic to see if I liked it. (From what I see there is no trial version of logic?) So after deciding that I preferred live and was more comfortable with it I deleted Logic and went back to working in Live, however now my M-Audio key rig does not work properly and will not send MIDI. Live recognizes that the keyboard is connected but never shows MIDI activity. Audio MIDI Setup also recognizes the keyboard is connected and does not display it grayed out or dimmed. When I test setup however there is no response. I have checked Apples, Abletons, and M-Audios support sites which have been little to no help. Did installing Logic somehow conflict with Live? Any help is appreciated.

By the way, the key rig is "class compliant" and does not (or did not) need drivers to run.

That is unfortunately what you get for pirating software.

You have no way of knowing what has been added or deleted from the package you dl'd...

I suggest you re-install your system and Live and go from there.
