logic board gone on mbp

i dropped my mbp and the repair guys said that the logic board is broken. problem is they wanna charge me fortune to fix it. my question is if anyone has knowledge about this and cold i replace it myself?

Doubtful. And the board itself is most of that cost.

Logicboard replacement is pretty easy, the downside is that a logicboard costs about 75% of the price of a new macbook pro
