logic board/power supply

In May of this year I had a new logic board installed in my mac desk top and 4 months later in September it went down again. Could a faulty power supply be eating my logic boards?

Okay, so yours is the 'Hero' PPC model. There are few reported problems with the logic board of that computer, so maybe you should get that PSU checked. An electrician can do that, or TV repair store, you don't need to pay exorbitant Apple store rates. Here's a terrific review of your iMac:
