I replaced my battery in my 2015 15” MacBook Pro a little while ago. While removing the logic board is was alittle difficult to pull away from the case and the board flexed a decent amount and I heard some cracking. I checked the board and it looks fine I didn’t see any cracks or chips/resistors missin. The computer is running fine now feels alittle faster with the new battery. It should be fine if it’s running now right? Hope I didn’t damage the board. It was like it was glued in.

It's highly possible that what you heard was merely normal flex in removing the board. But, if you're worried about it, go grab a magifying glass and shine a light across both sides of it and you'll be able to confirm visually whether or not you caused physical damage. Having had my fair share of MacBook Pro logic board surgeries in the past, I can tell you that a degree of this is normal. But, again, look at it. Run Apple Diagnostics (booting while holding down "D") or, take it to an Apple Store and have them run AST's Mac Resource Inspector or, if they still do this for that model, ASD and that will, for sure, tell you if all of the logic board's components are functional.

One more reason why I think Apple's $199 replacement battery is one of the better deals around.
They do it and you get a warranty, to boot!

"I was quoted 400"

Was that at an actual "Apple Store", or was it from a 3rd-party (non Apple) service provider?
