Hello!

I have an emac, g4 with a bad logic board. Does anyone have any idea what it would take to replace this and the estimated cost??
Thank you for any feedback.

In a word - expensive! However, assuming it's the capacitor problem on the logic board, there are several threads on this and at least three other forums that discuss soldering in new capacitors using the services of your local TV repair shop, or trying it yourself.

I know in my country, a replacement logic board is US$410 plus US$70 labour charge, plus tax on top of those. Replacement capacitors plus labour US$140 total (ie. about 1/3 the cost).

From memory, I think you can purchase the replacement capacitors from RadioShack or similar. Search the forums for advice.
