Logic board shortage?

AppleCare tells me they just have no IDEA when a logic board will be available to fix my MBP 13 inch that originally went in for a track pad repair. 10 days after ordering the logic board - still nothing and no idea how long it will take. No solution other than wait, which is bollocks. No information on why its unavailable. Help me out people. That computer is my business.
