I've got a 2,2 Macbook Pro 2.16ghz with the A1211 logic board.
I'm looking to upgrade this with the A1260 board from the Macbook Pro 4,1 2.4ghz.
Same form factor, but the A1211 has a 667 ghz bus while the A1260 is 800ghz.
I suspect that the bus speed difference won't matter, since all the peripherals connect with the same standard connectors (e.g SATA) at the same places.
Can this be done? This might be the cheapest way to make my old 'book run Mountain Lion.
