Logic board upgrade?

Hi all

I was wondering if someone knows if this is possible?

I have a Macbook Pro 17" 2.16 ghz core duo. I realise you can not upgrade the CPU on it unless you change the whole logic board. Is it possible to remove the logic board out of this unit and replace it for instance with a logic board that has the 2.33 ghz core duo 2? If so what would be the latest logic board that you can put into this particular machine?

PS Getting desperate as my machine is playing up.
