Logic Express and my emu 49

I have an Emu49 keyboard and it works perfectly with garageband 08
instruments, and records on GB fine, but my main daw is Logic express 08 and it won't allow the emu to play any of it's instruments.
I've looked in LE apps/contents/but can't find 'library'anywhere.
Can anyone help?

Will the EMU trigger ANYTHING (like the GB instruments) inside LE or absolutely nothing at all? (Your post was a little confusing to me on that)

Is there anything in Macintosh HD>Library>Application Support>Logic?

I tried the GB inst in LE but got nothing.

It's been awhile since I"ve done this but I'll check it out.
