hey there, im using a midi keyboard, a firewire through usb device.
My logic pro 8 is not picking the signal up of this for s**t lol.
I have tried installing software, and the driver that came with the midi board, updating the driver through its site, various amounts of discussions and asking for help, changing my midi channel through logic.
it should run through something called 'core audio'
However, on my logic screen, on the 'Inspector' bar on the left hand side showing details of the instrument and MIDI Thru etc, the 'core audio' that is shown above the 'MIDI channel' text is in greyscale-meaning i am unable to click on it and it is not active etc etc.
Also, on the 'Transport' bar it states 'No In/ No Out'.
Does Anybody have any suggestions? Advice?
Or someone that can please please give me a hand and tell me what to do to get this up and running as I'm absolutely desperate to get recording!
