Logic Pro 9 on the Mac App Store

Yesterday we saw LP9 and Mainstage 2 come to the Mac App Store but I have a question regarding something.

I have a base 13" MBA. Logic will run just fine on it, but my SSD is pretty small (only 128GB), so putting Logic on it wouldn't be that big of a deal but the 19GB of additional downloads would be a problem.

Can I have LP9 and Mainstage on the actual laptop while keeping all the additional stuff (Jampacks etc.) on my external drive?

Hi Petrucci,

yes, that works!

While installing you'll be asked where to put the jam packs and external sounds. So, give it a try!
