Hi, firstly I'm a total computer novice!
I've bought an imac with Ventura 13.0.1 and thought I'd be able to run Logic pro but unfortunately I can't as the newest version from the App store needs Sonoma... has anyone got any ideas of getting around this without having to buy another mac!?
Thanks Leo

Afraid not as I've already tried... I think I need a mac with a M1 chip

Yeah thanks but I don't really have the £ to get another mac, so was wondering if there's a way of getting an old logic program that will work with Ventura

It's such a shame, of course there are compatible versions of Logic Pro running on your iMac and Ventura, but Apple only allows to download an older version if you once bought it WHILE your Mac was compatible.

Workaround: login to your Apple ID on a friends newer Mac, buy Logic but don't download, logout, download latest compatible version from your iMac. ;)
