I have a 2021 16" M1 MacBook Pro running Tahoe 26.1. I just installed the latest update for Logic Pro. When I tried to launch it, it hung, saying "Application not responding," so I had to force quit. I searched online for things to try, such as deleting the com.apple.musicapps and com.apple.logic10 folders from the Library folder. (I couldn't find the Logic plist files to delete them.) That didn't solve the problem. The last resort was to delete and reinstall Logic. I searched for how to do that: just delete Logic Pro from the Applications folder, empty the Trash, and restart my computer. I opened the App Store and found Logic Pro, expecting to see an option to download it. Instead, the button said Open. I clicked on that. It went through a Verifying routine... and then hung, requiring a force quit. I'm guessing there are more Logic support files that need to be deleted. Any ideas?
EDIT: I was able to restore the Logic Pro app from a Carbon Copy Cloner backup, but I'm still having the original "Application not responding" problem.
