I use the midi learn feature in logic pro, and it works well. But then I turn off the computer and midi controller and when I open logic again, it does not remember what it had learned.

Am I missing something essential, or is this a bug or what?

Thanks, hopefully that will work. I'll let you know how it goes.

Another problem - I can't use the controller assignment option to assign functions to the play, stop, rewind, record, etc, buttons.

So I used "Key Assignments" and made the axiom learn the key assignments. The problem is, the button only works every other time I press it. For instance:

I can press the play button, the song starts playing. I hit the stop button, the song stops. I press play, nothing happens. Press play again, it plays.

I can see the midi number toggling from 0 to 127 or 127 to 0 every time I press the button, but it only seems to do what its supposed to when it goes from 0 to 127.

Obviously, I would like it to work every time I press the button. Help!

I use logic on a Mac with a Korg kontrol49 , however i don't assign anything i just use the keys and my Mac keyboard shortcuts so i don't know much about this subject.

Have you tried posting over at

kvraudio.com or gearslutz.com

im sure you'd get some answers there.
