Hi,

We need to deploy a suite of new iMacs late 2018. Amongst some smaller standard software, they need to have Logic Pro X (full version) and Ableton Live (Intro) on them. The plan was to take an image with all the software on and deploy to all the other machines (and then manually license and activate Logic and Ableton if needs be).

Can anyone advise if this should work OK or is it wishful thinking to have Logic and Ableton on a master image and then deploy this to many other machines without issue?

Thanks.

That should be absolutely fine - LPX just lives in the Applications folder and I imagine Ableton does too.

The only thing that may happen with LPX is the need to activate with Apple ID, as it's based in the App Store only. Unless you've got volume licensing, in which case I'm not too sure how that would work.
