Hi,

a very basic feature that i just can't find anywhere.

In Cubase SX 3 each track hade a little notepad where you could write lyrics, chords or any other information you wanted to save for later. Of course i mostly used it when writing down lyrics, or when working with samples i wrote where the sampled track/beat came from.

Is there no such feature in logic? I would at least like some note for each project where you can write down little memos on what to do with the song next time, what changes you've made each day of mixing etc etc.

e.g.
"sept 09. panned out backing vocals. entered automation for bongo.
to do: quantize drums, record harmonica, try dropping the guitar on third verse"

Ya know,
Please?

Thanks deej,

audionote seems good enough.

Still baffled though, why the h*ll doesn't apple build the feature into the program?

That's ok.

I like Audio Notes too! Great plug-in.

Have you tried using Markers? They are very good! You can color the text and background, show it in Global Tracks. Have a floating Marker window. Tie Markers to regions.

Every DAW has different strengths and weaknesses. No one DAW can satisfy every need of everyone. But maybe in the future we will see this feature?
