My brother purchased Logic Studio from Apple. He has it installed on his Mac.
Am I able to install this on my MacBook Pro as well? As far as I'm aware Apple software does not come with any online activation etc, but Im not sure if the license allows it?
Cheers.

I do only know that you won't be able to run it simultaneously when you both are connected to the same network.

So as long we are in separate houses, for example, so in separate networks, we would be able to use it fine, simultaneously?

I'm still assuming this would breach license agreements though?

Duff-Man says...legally, no. From the agreement:

Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, you are granted a limited non-exclusive license to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on one Apple-branded desktop computer and one Apple-branded laptop computer so long as both computers are owned and used by you.

That certainly does not cover (to no real surprise) your brother's computer....oh yeah!

So anyone could just install the software, and then sell it on to someone else?!
Why don't Apple just adopt online activation?
