Hey there.

I've just installed the newest Logic Studio on my new Mac Pro's SSD drive. Given that it's only a 64GB drive, space should be cherished like gold!

This makes Logic a little problematic, as their installation customisation options only allow you to relocate the Jam Packs to a separate HD to that if the main programme and thus the programme still takes up around 20+GB.

I presume that a huge chunk of this is the Samples (as I didn't see an option to relocate them in the official installation procedure); it would be useful to put these elsewhere. Is there a safe way of doing this after installation has been completed. And if so, how so?

Thanks in advance

Dan

My most elegant solution was to copy the Instruments and Samples from "Logic" in App Support, to a Sample dedicated HD and then make aliases of the same name in place of the originals in the original location...is there any better way?
