Hi guys, I'm working on an audio design project for a short film and can't find things like 'footsteps', 'crowd cheering', 'applause' etc.. This content has always been easy to locate in loops but the content seems to be absent in later updates. Have Apple removed this content or is it somewhere else to be found or downloaded?

Thanks.

They're definitely still there, just checked. Got about 20 different Crowd sounds. Try select Logic Pro X> Sound Library> Open Sound Library Manager... and see what components you're missing. You can then download and install any you haven't done.

Thanks, I have all available to download extras installed including 'legacy'. Am I looking in the wrong place when accessing the loops library within Logic X? If I type 'crowds' for example, nothing will come up.

If you press the letter O, it should bring up your loops. It's that icon towards the top right that looks a little like the Greek Omega. Ensure it's searching all genres in the loops.

I've just searched for Crowd and there are loads of them available. Are you searching in the same place?

I spoke with an Apple Pro Apps rep and he was also getting many more SFX showing up than I was on my Logic X. He recommended re-downloading the entire library. Hopefully that's all I need to do. Just don't know why Logic is saying that all additional content is installed.
