I am having like a 16th note or 8th note latency via midi with logic.

I have a USB keyboard and an iPad with the Logic remote control application and I am having latency with both....

Any suggestion?

So the keyboard plugs directly into the Mac with no hub. And then you have headphones plugged into some audio interface and there is a lag between when you play a not on the keyboard to when you hear in in the headphones?

What audio interface are you using. What is the size of the audio buffer.

Also the delay might be inside the virtual instrument. Have you tried different software instruments?

What is an 1/8th note delay? It would depend on the tempo and time signature. What is the delay in milliseconds? Or just tell us the tempo and signature.

Could be as simple as adjusting buffer size.

Hi there,
it is a buffer adjustment for sure ... 8 ou 16th means it is speaking "musically" to describe the technical problem of latency :)

Do you know how modify this ?

Cheers

Sorry...

I restarted Logic and problem solved. :s

I had the keyboard connected directly to the computer and headphones too, no midi or audio interface.
