Logiech Keyboard cuts out all the time

Hello

I bought a Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo (Cordless Elite Duo), and it keeps cutting out every minute. the mouse will not click but will movie and the keybord will not type. The reciver is about 10" from the keyboard/mouse, the batteries are also brand new in the devices.

To get it to work i must unplug the USB and then plug it back in. I have had my computer service and it still does it. I have literly tried everthing.

I have now put the original Apple Mouse and Keyboard back on my computer and it works perfect.

does anybody have any ideas or have this keyboard/mouse and having problems too.

One of my friends has the same keyboard/mouse and has it running on the new iMac and she says it works fine.

Have you tried the Logitech keyboard and mouse on another computer?

Have you tried them separately?

Have you tried them with a different remote unit?

Are they plugged directly into the iMac, not through a hub?
