So periodically when trying to log into Mac OS X, clicking on the picture/icon to log in will cause OS X to hang indefinitely requiring a hard reset.
No idea what might be causing this. I suspect it has something to do with the state of the machine on the last shutdown (the fast shutdown is getting overzealous?).=
It has me slightly worried because of the nature of doing a hard reset (potential for data loss, etc.)
