iPod touch Login driving me crazy!!!!

I'm experiencing issues with the Apple iTunes Password dialog box opening EVERY time I go into the apps store! It happens prior to me purchasing a new app or receiving an update to a pre-existing app. This never happened prior to 3.0... Anyone else experiencing this???

if i had to guess, i would say you use an aol login. if this is the case, go into itunes and logout. purpously enter the wrong password three times and then create an apple account and you should be good to go.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot and see if it works... Lately, it seems like (after 3.0 upgrade) the login appears all the time!

I've always had to login. Yes, you can save login when using iTunes, but on mobile devices I have always had to login with password for every purchase. This, I had thought, was to prevent someone from buying up the whole Apple Store catalog on a stolen iDevice.

yes. I've also always had to login on my iPod Touch. Doesn't bother me.

I've never logged in to buy anything, I think mine is set to one click purchase.
