MP 7,1 Login issues every 2nd time

Hey,

some strange issue with my new machine- every second time or so when I’m trying to log in after booting, I enter my password, it gets accepted and then nothing happens anymore. No loading bar shows up, it just hangs.
i then can only long press the power button until it shuts down and reboot again, and then next time it works normally.

Is this related to the secure boot or the T2 chip?

This is driving me nuts!

Why not contact Apple support for it? You bought the expensive computer, you'd expect premium service from them.

Does the caps lock respond when it is in that in between state?
