Login items for applications not installed still showing

I uninstalled carbon copy cloner, yet it is still showing in login items.
How do I remove it?

You're talking about in system settings, right? You click the "-" button if there are any login items. I dont have any so that button is grayed out.

I actually have the same issue!! Check it out:

I also put boxes around ones that are not installed. I do use Avid products (Sibelius) but not Pro Tools. And I dunno where the heck Creative Cloud came from!

Track them down in Finder and delete them.

They are in locations such as:

User Library / LaunchAgents
Library / LaunchAgents
Library / LaunchDaemons
Library / PrivilegedHelperTools
