Hey all. After my MacBook Pro (13-inch mid 2012) wakes up after I open it, and I get my profile picture in the middle circle with the blurry picture of Yosemite in the background. The spot where I usually put in my password (the long, gray rectangle), says "PIN" and not password sometimes. I enter in what I usually use as a PIN in many other applications, and it doesn't work. I don't ever remember setting up a PIN with Apple for anything.

This is not to be confused with the boot up screen and a six place set of boxes for the system PIN. That is not the screen I'm on. It's my normal login screen, after I open up my laptop, where I usually just type in my password to get in. Sometimes it wants a PIN. Usually I just restart the computer and when I get a fresh boot up, the long, gray rectangle says "Password" and I am good to go.

However, while using Safari for some Air Force stuff recently, I am getting certificate trust warnings, which is not abnormal, but to allow the access, Safari is asking for a PIN, instead of my password. It says, "You are making changes to your Certificate Trust Settings. Enter you PIN to allow this." I then have my username lightly grayed out, and a second line to enter my PIN. To make changes, I've always been asked for my password to the laptop, and never a PIN.

I have no idea what this PIN is that the MacBook keeps asking me to enter. I can't find it in my settings on the laptop, or in my iCloud. Does anyone know where I can find this PIN, or set one up? Thanks.
