Hi there,

I it possible to login to a MacBook using a third party keyboard/mouse. I have a Logitech MXMaster 2s mouse and Logitech K780 keyboard. Both work fine once I have logged in the Mac but neither work at the login screen to enter my Mac's password. Is it possible to enable 3rd party bluetooth accessories to work on the login screen? It's only a minor thing but would save me from having to use the MacBook's keyboard/trackpad when docked.

Thanks!

My Logitech mouse works at login, but I must wait several seconds before it gets detected (using FileVault here).
Ok, just tested and you don't need to wait just press the mouse button or a keyboard key and it works immediately .

Interesting. I can't get mine to register no matter how long I wait. I am using firevault as well. As soon as I login using the inbuilt keyboard/trackpad they work fine.

If it helps I'm using a 2017 MacBook with the latest High Sierra (No beta). My mouse is a M535.

I don't about the keyboard, but I use a Logitech MX Anywhere 2S and it works perfectly at the login. I just need to click the mouse and move it a bit, then the Mac detects it fine.

I am using a late 2015 iMac 5K, FileVault disabled.
