Login Window Problem

At one point, I used a program to alter my login screen. I don't remember what it was called but it did more than just change my background and logo, so far as changing the layout and buttons. So what I need to know is where the system resources are that contain the information for the login screen is and where can I get a new set of the resources to revert back to the original login screen. I am running 10.6.8. Thank you!
