Sorry for the vague title - it's hard to describe the problem in a few words.

I'm using 10.10.1 on a late 2012 Mac Mini and for the past few weeks I've been experiencing a rather annoying problem with logins.

There are a number of sites that I visit at least once a day (MacUpdate, Big Fish games, MacRumors) and all require a login to do more than simply browse. Up to the time this problem began my logins have been "sticky" in that if I visit a site, log in, I could count on continuing to be logged in, especially if there's a "Remember Me checkbox checked. I am the only user on this Mac and I don't log out of my account or restart very often. I realize that if I did log out or restart, I'd have to log in again.

I'm wondering if somehow I've missed a new security "feature" that Apple slipped in that logs me out of these accounts once or twice a day.

Is there some way to defeat whatever's going on such that I can log in to the accounts and expect to remain logged in? Or do I forever have to log in again and again?

Thanks for any explanation or hints.
