I am an unhappy Sprint customer who will be switching to Verizon. I know the apple store can manage this, but my question is this: I am trying to switch onto an already existing plan (someone is adding me as a line to their plan). Does that person need to be there with me? What would I need to do to accomplish this? When do I port my number? I am totally carrier-switching illiterate. Help appreciated!
