Trying to replace a nest cam with a home kit camera. Have a Logitech Circle View camera & while it' snot a good as the nest, it's been working pretty well lately.

It stopped working over the weekend (cord came unplugged) and I got it working again, but it went out on Tuesday night & now every time I check it, it's working, but nothing is being recorded, its only streaming. I had it set up to record any activity, and it used to record many items per day. I just checked the settings & it's still set to record when I am home & when I am away (stream & Allow recording) but no matter what I do, it no longer records, just streams.

Any ideas on what else I can check? Or if you've seen this before, any ideas on how to fix it?

Since the recordings are processed on the home hub, whichever you may use, I would try rebooting that. Do a hard reboot of the hub. Unplug for 10 seconds then plug it back in. A network reboot won’t hurt either.

Hmm. That didn't work. I also tried unplugging the camera again, but still no recording. I'll give both another shot this evening.

Thanks. I'll give that a try if re-doing the turning everything on & off doesn't work

Redoing everything else didn't work. I realized that resting the camera would require me to climb up on my roof, so figured since it was still under warranty, I'd exchange it for a new one. Hopefully this doesn't keep happening. Thanks for all the help BTW.

No worries. Can’t think of anything else but it still sounds like software if the camera is working otherwise. Weird... In my experience, Logitech generally has good customer service with their cameras.

Good to know on the customer service.

Yah, I suspect it is some sort of software thing, but figured with it being return-eligible for another 4 days, might as well be on the safe side. I reordered another one & if that has the same issue, I'll give them a call.
