I've just returned my Otterbox Statement Studio as it was so flimsy and the kickstand wasn't going to stand up to what I needed it to.

I have ordered a combo touch instead and intend to use it mainly without the keyboard, as it's the only other option I can find with a kick stand.

Does anyone have the new one and could measure the thickness of the main case to see how much bulk it will add to the thinness of the Pro?

Thanks

Don't have the iPad with me to measure, but, the new Combo Touch is thinner than the one on my M2 iPad Pro.

That’s horrible and does not fit my needs for a kickstand at all.

I’ve got the Logitech combo now, I’m actually pleasantly surprised. I was worried about thickness, the back case is actually pretty much the same size as the Otterbox one I returned, much thinner than previous versions although does add a little more bulk than I’d prefer, but it’s not bad by any means.

As for the keyboard. I bought this with the intention of binning the keyboard but I found that’s it’s actually quite good, and as a package when folded up it’s not too thick. The keyboard being detachable will live in my bag 99.9% of the time but I guess it’s there if I need it. I would prefer a thin wireless keyboard along with the back kick stand case.

The next test will be to make sure I can use the kickstand as per my last one in the attached photo, as I will be doing this a lot…

I’ve been traveling quite a bit with my combo touch. Incredibly happy with it. One thing you might consider-I have taken to flipping the keyboard around and folding it against to back of the case. It negates the ability to use the kickstand, but it‘s great for lap reading and taking notes. YMMV.

Combo touch is $420AUD here for the M4 13", at that price may as well just get the MKB.
