logitech control center "no device found" issue after installing steermouse

please help! i have read almost every post on other forums regarding this issue.
basically LCC was working fine then i installed steermouse. after finding out it wasnt free i uninstalled it to use back the old LCC but there it said "no device found" i even tried reinstalling it without any success

what can i do now?

You have to completely uninstall (completely - anything associated with Steermouse, not just trashing the Prefpane) Steermouse to get LCC functionality back (I speak from experience)

thanks i found the solution this morning.
basically i had to completely uninstall lcc first. then restart. then i uninstalled steermouse from the app page(help->uninstall). then restart.
i finally reinstalled lcc and voila!
