I just got the latest MacWorld February 2006. It has an add for a new Mac specific keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop S530 Laser. A quick search of Logitech and online find little but a Chinese website reference.

Is this old news or did this slip out prior to CES and MWSF?

Oh, and it looks very cool with "One Touch Controls for "iLife"

I saw this ad too. I have to say that this set look really nice. The keyboard has even a Spotlight Key, I like the mouse too.

Here is a pic of the ad for those who haven't seen it, enjoy.

Yeah, I dont know how Apple can compete unless they bring something out in January. I fgured they were holding off on something nice waiting for all their machines to get BT2.0 or soemthing. But now given that advertising and Harmac saying they are doing the french Mighty Mouse (or something like that), I wonder if Logitech are too strong for Apple at the moment.

I'm glad to see that Logitech increased the area of the buttons for your fingers to click. It seemed as though functionality took a back seat to design on a lot of their more recent mice. This one looks very functional.

Do you have to buy them as combo or do you buy them seperatly? I have been wanting a white Logitech mouse for the longest time. But I am kinda partial to my Apple keyboard. But I would really like to see some more pics of the keyboard to get a better look at it.

I am very surprised to know that the mouse works fully with Macs - equal functionality of windows. Its a good mouse, so is the keyboard.

This must be the first Mac only product logitech have released.

Hope they've improved the software for mouse and keyboard, it was always a POS.

The only thing keeping me from buying that is no rechargeable mouse.

They should have just bundled it with a white version of an MX1000

It still needs a usb dongle. I wish it was bluetooth. I'd be sold then.

I think it's USB dongle because bluetooth products have terrible battery life... these last for 6 months each... I will be picking this up for my iMac G5. I have an Apple kybd with an older Logitech wireless mouse, and its dongle almost as big as the mouse and sits on the desk.. I can't wait to get rid of that!
