I’ve just gotten a new iPad Air 3rd gen and the Crayon. I’ve followed all of the instructions to use it with this compatible iPad and its not working. I’m on the latest iOS. I’ve fully charged the Crayon. The Crayon LED lights like its supposed to. I’ve restarted the iPad. No Bluetooth device has ever been connected. What am I doing wrong?

Are the apps you using supportive of the crayon?

iOS is comparable with the crayon. It should allow the user to select apps or any other touch functions. I’m going to go to the store and try it on a couple display models and see.

Even though it looked like it was supposed to, LED lit up, it took a charge, it didn’t work on any of the iPads that I tried it with. They had some for sale so I bought one and it worked like it was supposed to. I’ll be returning the defective one.

Side note, it works great. I also have an Apple Pencil and it works exactly the same with the exception of the pressure sensitivity. I’m not an artist so that doesn’t matter so much to me. I use it for a digital notebook.
