your thoughts please

i was just going to post about this keyboard as well:p

im interested in the dinova edge or the regular dinova .. seems like there
are 2 versions for the mac .. one is 158$ the other is 99$ the cheaper
one has a number pad and they are both wireless .. any thoughts ?

I have the mac Edge version. Love it so much more that the chicklet apple keyboards. The disc does act like a mouse pointer and can scroll in a window horizontal and vertical also. I like the volume controls and the life of the charge. I think it has been discontinued and had to buy mine on a used / refurbished store.

They still make them, I believe. I just bought one for the living room about three weeks ago. I'm typing on it right now. I really like the keys on it, but took a bit to get used to the pad. I had problems getting the scrolling to work, but after I figured it out, it works fine. I use it on my Powerbook because I keep it on a stand and got tired of leaning forward to type.

I got mine at MacMall. It looks like they still have it on sale for $79, but it was only $75 when I bought it. Logitech may be getting ready to discontinue the model, though, since they tend to slash prices right before discontinuing a model. I picked up two MX Revolution mice for $40 each right before they discontinued it.

Edit: BTW, the full name is diNovo Edge Mac Edition. It's the Bluetooth model with a trackpad and a stand/charger. The regular keyboard with no trackpad (but with a number pad) is called diNovo Wireless Keyboard - Mac Edition. It uses regular wireless and batteries.
