I just picked up the Logitech diNovo Edge this weekend. Types awesome, love it. I was wondering something though. Every wireless keyboard I've ever owned goes to "sleep" after a short period of non-use to preserve the battery.

I frequently leave my MacBook on during the day (play music for the dogs) and came home to discover my keyboard was totally dead (was fully charged the day before). Logitech says this thing should last a few months between charges, yet it died in several hours?

I realize there isn't any software for the Mac, but I have to think the keyboard goes to sleep after a period of inactivity, right? Please tell me you don't have to manually switch it off when done using it or it will die.....

Could be a battery defect. Mine is on its second charged and I've owned mine since May or June. The MX Revolution mouse I have is another story. It wouldn't charged fully yet the indicator disagrees. I had to RMA it and all is fine.
