Logitech G27 on MacBook running 10.6.8

So I have a 2008 MacBook that is running 10.6.8. I was wanting to play the game scania truck driving simulator and wanted to know how to get the steering wheel working, or know if it will work. Any help would be great.

G27 compatibility using OSX

I was wondering, too if the G27 from Logitech supports OSX.
Their site does not list OSX as system platform - their support just confirmed its incompatibility.
Nevertheless, the companies forum indicates, some users are able to use it on their Macs.
I myself have not unpacked the G27 yet, but will post my experience once I have hooked it up to my Mac.

Just connected...

the G27 incl pedals and gear shift - they do not work with Scania truck driver simulator. Neither SCS Software Inc. nor Logitec have made is possible to use this hardware... with Mac OSX 10.9 - I am giving this Logitec crap away...

SCS Inc. helped me understanding the problem; it's not on their side.
Maybe Feral Interactive has a temporary solutions (I will follow up on it and post the results):
