Logitech G7 button mapping?

So I just got the G7 and read a thread on how to get the essential buttons programmed through USB overdrive. That worked fine after deleting the Logitech control center. I tried to program the other buttons, but had no luck. I can't get the wheel left/right buttons to work, even though I set them to control the volume. I see all the buttons and the options given for each, but don't know which button each button # corresponds to. So does anyone out there have this mouse and would be willing to give me a quick rundown on how to do this. I would also like to be able to have the thumb button be for expose, how can I do this?
