Hey gang,

picked up a MX518 mouse for my MP, and bought Steermouse to drive it in Leopard. Everything is working great, except for the buttons above and below the scroll wheel. Steermouse is not picking them up. Any other MX518 users have the same issue??

TIA!!

Frank

I just got my mx518 today! :D

I believe that those two buttons are for changing the mouse DPI. While Expose & Spaces prefs see those two buttons, when assigned, the buttons still remain being DPI switch rather than expose buttons.

You're correct! They do change the dpi on the fly without having to going into Steermouse! Cool! Apparently Steermouse's drivers are robust enough to work with it.

Thanks!!!
