I'm considering buying this set, but as it says it's only Windows compatible, I wanted to see if anyone is running it successfully under Snow Leopard.

I saw previous posts from a year or so ago, but wanted to see what the current status is.

Any replies would be welcome, thanks!

Is the mouse alone worth about $70? If so, I might just buy a refurb set off eBay and maybe resell the keyboard...

Keyboard works fine. Even the volume and track buttons on the left work.

Regarding the mouse, it doesn't work with logitech control center. So you have to connect via Bluetooth. But to get full functionality I have to use steermouse which is 20 bucks. Otherwise only left click and right click work and the scroll. Steermouse adds the side buttons which I use for back in forward in safari. Worth it in my opnion.

That's my experience. If you can do it easier, please let me know.

Yeah, I'm trying to move everything to Bluetooth actually...I think the connection tends to be better than with regular wireless (I get really weird lag with my current setup.)

I don't mind buying Steermouse if that's what it takes for the mouse to work. I *love* Logitech's mice and keyboards, but I hate that they don't seem to give a crap about Mac users...(I have the Ultra Vision Pro webcam too...I was surprised that they released a Mac-specific piece of hardware.)

Is anyone using this Logitech set under Lion? I'm tempted to get it just for the mouse, but I'm sick of going through mice with poor Mac support (hello, Razer!).

I actually ended up with a mouse I like better - the Performance MX. It feels better in the hand, and with the new unifying wireless adapter, I only need one USB port for both my mouse and keyboard (Logitech K350, which I love.)

And yes, I'm using this new setup just fine in Lion.

My post from before holds true with lion. I just upgraded and it was as if nothing had changed.
